  •  The issue of the COMPLIANCE ASSESSMENT LOG section in the answer control not displaying a log has now been resolved.

  • Healthcare sanctions and exclusions checks are now accessible through a RESTful API, enabling third-party applications to integrate seamlessly with IntegrityShield. This feature is particularly beneficial for partners providing solutions such as vendor management or contract management systems to healthcare clients. Integration can be achieved in two primary ways:

 

  1.     Automated Vendor Management Integration:

 

o Obtain an API integration key from SureShield.

o Use this key to create and manage each customer and vendor record in IntegrityShield, ensuring the list is updated with any additions, updates, or deletions.

o IntegrityShield will automatically conduct periodic sanctions and exclusions checks on all vendor records.

o Your application can allow users to access the IntegrityShield portal in a separate browser tab through Single Sign-On (SSO).

o Monthly billing would be based on the number of customers and the number of vendor records being monitored.

 

2.      Custom Workflow Integration:

 

o Obtain an API integration key from SureShield.

o Perform sanctions and exclusions checks on each vendor record periodically using the /matches RESTful API.

o Save and manage the results within your application.

o Implement custom sanctions and exclusions workflows directly within your application based on the results.

o Monthly billing would be based on the number of API calls or the number of unique vendor records being monitored.

 

These integration methods allow for flexible and efficient compliance management tailored to the specific needs of healthcare-related applications.

  • User accounts with PSA profiles are now activated automatically so that these users’ accounts show up for selection to assign/forward tasks.
  • Editing customer information and module onboarding is now permitted only if the account is designated as self-managing, without partner access, during customer account activation by the customer system administrator.

 

REMEDIATION PROPOSAL MANAGER (RPM):

  • The reference data setup has been improved to allow the configuration of skillsets, services, and estimated service time required for each remediation objective. As a result, during proposal creation, the service costs for all the selected remediation objectives are now automatically calculated based on the configured services.
  • Proposals can now be generated in either detailed or high-level formats. For proposals with numerous remediation objectives, opting for the high-level format can reduce the number of items the customer needs to review.

 

SMS BASED 2ND LEVEL AUTHENTICATION:

  • SureShield’s 2FA has been enhanced by adding SMS-based two-factor authentication (2FA) as an alternative to the Authenticator App-based Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) method. When users activate their accounts, they now have the option to choose between these two methods for 2FA.

 

During the account activation process, users will be presented with a choice between using an Authenticator App (which generates a TOTP) or opting for SMS-based 2FA.

Users who select the SMS-based option will be prompted to confirm their mobile number. This step is crucial to ensure the correct device receives the verification codes. Once the mobile number is confirmed, the system will send a One-Time Passcode (OTP) via SMS to the user’s registered mobile number. The user will then need to enter the received OTP into the portal to complete the authentication process and gain access successfully.

FEEDBACK MODULE:

The workflows for feedback tickets, including application issues and enhancement requests, have been improved to ensure that notifications are sent to the appropriate users up the chain, including the original reporter.
